At 8:00 a.m. on July 11, a fully enclosed waste transfer truck full of municipal solid waste from Bishan County, Chongqing, slowly drove in and dumped the waste into the waste pit at Tongliang Tianying Waste-to-Energy Power Plant.

Bishan County entrusts the neighboring county to deal with its MSW to achieve the reduction, harmless treatment and resourceful disposal of waste and improving the environment.

The Tongliang project is equipped with two 400t/d incineration lines and an 18MW turbine generator set. The average daily amount of domestic waste in Tongliang is about 400 tons, and 500 tons in the adjacent Bishan County. With the co-disposal of waste from Bishan County, the Tongliang project has successfully reached full load operation, marking another important milestone of the project.
