Located in South Asia, the Maldives is the world's largest coral island nation with rich tourism resources. China is an important partner of the Maldives. The two countries have a long-established friendship, especially after President Xi Jinping's official state visit to the Maldives in September 2014, which marked a new chapter for the bilateral relationship. The two countries have close infrastructure investment activities in areas including housing, electricity, waste treatment, solar energy and other energy-saving and environmental protection areas.

As a leading listed international enterprise in the industry, China Tianying has a stronghold in the domestic market but with a global vision to inject new momentum into the growth of the sector. The signing of the contract will effectively enhance the company's competitiveness and influence in the environmental protection equipment manufacturing industry, further consolidate the company's competitive edge, and bring positive impact on the company's performance, as well as provide more experience for us to tap into the international market.

Based on the new development stage, China Tianying will join hands with its partners to help the development of the energy sector of the Maldives so as to build a more sustainable future where people and nature live in harmony.
