International Women's Day was established 112 years ago from the affirmative action movement and has now become one of the important international holidays. People around the world celebrate women in different ways on this day, celebrating the important contributions they make to family harmony and social progress.

Ms. Zhao Zhen, a representative of Chinese women entrepreneurs, shared her entrepreneurial story at the event. Talking about the opportunities brought to Chinese women by the reform and opening up, Ms. Zhao Zhen was very proud, "The reform and opening up has brought great opportunities for Chinese women to achieve both personal and social values".

The coffee tasted at the salon came from Indonesia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Panama and Yunnan, China, which impressed and delighted the guests.

Over coffee, guests spoke about the relationship between people and the environment. Ms. Jessica Henry, Head of Energy Policy at the British Embassy in Beijing, gave a professional perspective on the concern that climate change will have a greater impact on women's careers. Ms. Liu Bing, Deputy Consul General of the Australian Consulate General in Shanghai, advocated the development of a "green circular economy".

"If we had more women leaders, the world would be a more peaceful place." H.E. Mr. Aiain Wong M.S.K., Ambassador of Mauritius, said that women have a softer heart and that a world led by women would make people feel more loved and cared for, "because women take care of the world with love".

During the event, all female guests completed an artistic re-creation of Austrian painter Egon Schiele's work "Four Trees", calling for greening the earth, advocating the concept of low-carbon living, and calling on the world to work together to actively contribute to the harmony between man and nature.

This event was one of the CNTY Beijing International Salon activities, hosted by the Beijing Office of China Tianying Inc. The event took International Women's Day as an opportunity, using natural coffee from various countries as a medium and the artistic re-creation of famous paintings as a carrier. Female diplomats from various countries participating in the event exchanged and interacted with each other in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, chatting about friendship and expressing their concern and advocacy for women's equal rights and green and sustainable development.
